Review: Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar palette by Too faced cosmetics

The Too Faced Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar palette, is an eyeshadow palette filled with mostly neutral shades, for example browns and subtle shimmer shades and includes two highlighter shades, one matte and one shimmer.

The pigmentation in this palette is very impressive and does not go patchy when blending on the eyes. The pigmentation is mostly strong with the darker shades and gold shimmers. The only shade i personally have had a problem with is ‘pink sugar’. I was really disapointed when swatching this colour as this shade is very chunkey glitter and has no pigment what so ever. You could always use ‘pink sugar’ as a glitter over layer for other eyeshadows that you don’t want to be matte, although it wont look as pretty as the shade looks in the pan.

The texture if these shadows are very soft and creamy. They honestly blend like a dream. Because of this, you really do get your moneys worth. As i said early they do not go patchy, or gather up in the crease, due to their smoothe, blendable texture.

Worth the price?

This palette costs ÂŁ39. Although this seems extremely expensive, keep in mind that this is a highend product and is very good quality. You are tecnically paying just over ÂŁ2 pounds for each eyeshadow which is quite a good deal if you think about how long each one is going to last you. I have had my palette for 2 weeks now and it still looks untouched and good as new, therefore i would say it is defenately worth the money!
